I can't hardly believe it, I'm back to KL.
The cold, chilling and comfy Genting seems so far away!
The family trip was enjoyable. The concert was absolutely fantastic! I love Sammi Cheng since young. *grin*
I've also created a photo album in my facebook.

Happy happy. I'm leaving in 3 more hours. And I have 5 days off starting on tomorrow. Yeepee!!
Basically, most of my students have been to holidays. So I have got a most relaxing saturday morning ever. Hanging around in my little studio, playing puzzles with kids, chatting with parents. Ah what a lovely morning!
Last time I had been to Genting was... 2 years ago! I'm SO excited!!
Haha, I feel like such a kid again. Can't wait.

Looking into the trees
So far I’m doing it 5 days a week.
It’s not a long jog, but I'm starting it small.
To improve bit by bit, day by day.
It’s one hour of my time.
Plus I feel incredibly zippy after it.
But my real reason for all the exercise, is because I desperately want to be a lady who’s young, fit, healthy, and active. I want to keep an active social life, get out and about, paint my nails and go to concerts. I want to keep my feet on the ground and have a sense of humour about life and kids.
I think my greatest fear is turning into a frumpy Chinese Aunty while I’m only 25.
May everyone has a wonderful weekend too, Happy holidays!

And thanks to all of you who concern about her especially babe eve who's chased after me many times for the report.
I guess Bean will be so glad if she knows how loved she is!
And I indeed am very happy that she's fine.

Paint & Sketch from nature at Ulu Yam, Selangor
Went to Ulu Yam on Sunday to do painting and sketching from nature.
The scenery was absolutely beautiful.
Stopped by the beautiful lakeside while on the way to the waterfall.
Fishing.
The water was freezing cold!
Photographers were capturing the...erm...the grass I supposed? *wondering*
"I wanna swim too, let me out!" Poor little poodle. *Cute*
Heavy rain at the afternoon not only stopped us from painting but also made us all wet!
Overall, the trip was fantastic and fun, it's just another lovely Sunday! ^^

New Car in Town!
New car in town! My Vois has finally arrived! *smile*
I've attended the Yoga class today after being stopped for 3 months. I felt great, Mandy has conducted the class wonderfully.
I just love her way of teaching, clear instructions and well organize lessons.
The class is actually very convenient for me since it's at my studio, but I'm just so lazy to attend sometimes.
Ah... no more laziness, I have to work hark as I'm going to participate in the Penang Bridge Marathon later. Gosh..26km, I have to make it this time!
Good night everybody, have a great weekend.

Organic Watercress
My mother used to make watercress soup all the time. I used to LOVE eating the stuff! in salads, in chicken soups, in noodles or just simply fried it. Yum.

Vicente Villarin - Spring 2008
I stumbled across the Spring 2008 collection of Vicente Villarin, by fashion designer Joanne Cordero Reyes.
I just love the way her pieces have an artful form about them, full of texture, depth and subtlety. Gorgeous stuff.
Vicente Villarin Layered Cocktail Dress, this incredibly beautiful dress is my favorite piece among all.

Updates- Singapore Trip September '08
So I was back to Singapore in less than one year again, and I felt GREAT! I love the heat, I love the food, I love the shopping!!
I arrived on 1st of September, Monday 7am, and it’s been a crazy whirlwind of courses, seminars, meetings, shopping and eating. This time stayed a bit longer, it’s been so much fun for one whole week!
During the trip, besides the interesting courses, seminars and great people that I've met. I had a list of “MUST SEE” boutiques and fashion designers compiled from dozens of personal recommendations, suggestions and my own online research.
On the top of my list was Soon Lee, in Haji Lane.
I got the impression that it was VERY DIFFERENT to the high-end, designer-brand, super-shiny boutiques in Singapore’s Orchard District.
One of the results of mass production and globalisation is the rise of the conventional shopping mall. These shopping experiences are predictable, and pretty much the same, whether you’re in Malaysia, Australia, Singapore or London.
If you take on fashion and interested to showcase different, unique and local shopping experiences - you must take a look at Haji Lane by yourself.
I'm sure you will love it!
Walking down Haji Lane, you would probably think you arrived at the wrong place for a fashion experience. The lane is long and narrow. There is the occasional piece of rubbish lying around, there are rickshaws (yes, a pedal powered taxi with a charming, old, toothless man!) and rubbish bins are parked next to tiny, two-stroke vans and motorcycles.
Old shop houses run the length of the shopping lane – some shops have vines growing up the building, with aged, oriental murals flaking off the walls. Some have uber modern glass walls, with brushed, stainless steel fittings and amazingly designed wall patterns. The place is crammed with absolutely unique shops and cafes.
Singapore is a sophisticated, developed, modern and a truly global city. But nearby in Arab Street, you can literally see, feel, smell and taste that Singapore has been a cross roads of international trade and cultural exchange for centuries.
I loved all the vibrant colours, deep textures, exotic smells, the mix of old and new, the signs of oriental and global influence. It was incredible.
Her shop is wonderful. Eclectic, busy, over-flowing with delicious bits and pieces and designed goodies – clothes, jewellery, accessories, hats, belts, sun glasses, homewares.
Soon Lee
56, Haji Lane, Level 2, Singapore.
Open everyday from 2pm-8pm.
Phone: (65)6297 0198
You get the feeling that Haji Lane oozes a new kind of quiet, creative confidence in Singapore, still fresh and exciting. Haji Lane is worth visiting just to experience Arab Street and its surrounds too, and the price of everything seem very affordable.
Most boutiques in Haji Lane only open their doors from around 2.00pm, and are still open till around 9 -10 pm. I’ve been told that the best time to visit is 4pm on a weekday.
Get there by:
Taxi - You might need to explain to the taxi driver that Haji Lane is parallel to Arab Street, between North Bridge Road and Beach Road, then shouldn't be any problem. I used this google map.
Or take the MRT East-West line train to Bugis station and walk for 10 minutes.
Enjoy!

Happy Mooncake Festival!
I have a tremendous Mooncake festival this year!
I'm so tired but still wanna blog this as soon as I've got home, even though it's late at night and my heart is arching because of exhaustiveness. *smile*
In fact Mooncake festival is one of my favorite festive.
I love the full moon, I love the mooncakes, I love the lanterns, I love the candles twinkling in the dark, I love the reunion dinner with family, very much.
But in my memory, I don't have many chances playing with lanterns during my childhood, because I'm the only child at home. It's so weird to play lanterns alone which reminds me of loneliness when I saw others playing with their siblings happily. It's getting even rare to do so as I grown up.
I wish that I would have a Mooncakes festival which fill up with lanterns next year. *smile*
Well, back to my day.
Look! Taking photos with the winking doggies! Johnny boy & Bean! lolz
I've a date with my lovely Bean early at the morning, as I've promised to bring her for a walk at 1U park. It's such a lovely outing with Johnny and Mika together!
Johnny and Mika!
Johnny Boy is a 6 months old Jack Russell pup, and Mika is a 5 months old Golden Retriever pup. They are sooooo cute and Johnny is well trained to do all sort of tricks & actions. He is definitely qualified to enter the Royal London of Circus at his age, seriously.
Ruo Ing and Bean!
"Hey Johnny..I'm having shots with beauty, wanna join?" said Bean
Lovely Bean Bean and pretty Baby Eve
Ruo Ing and me with Bean, look how enjoy she was! ^^
But Bean has given me a heart attack while on the way back to Young Soon's house. She suddenly fell beside me as if she felt very painful. I don't know what's wrong with her, I could feel every pore on my body prickle and break out into a sickening sweat. I was terrified, luckily she's fine after a few minutes.
I brought her for doctor right after our lunch. Doctor said she might be playing too hard which over her limits. The weather was too hot, imagine an overweight 30++ lady didn't exercise for ages suddenly run for 10 kilometers! Okay, a bit exaggerated but it's quite near to the fact.
It's all my fault. Thank God that she's alright now, anyway I hope her blood test result will be fine tomorrow. *pray hard*
It's noon after we settled down the doggies at Young Soon's house. We headed to PJ SS15 to have the hand made noodles for lunch.
Well, I must said it's one of the most delicious and satisfied lunch ever!
This noodles were absolutely *thumbs up*! (beyond description)
Oh my... I'm even gonna bring mum and dad tomorrow for breakfast here again! So I think you can guess how yummy it is! *slurrpss*
Later have reunion dinner with family at the evening. And catched a movie with a friend after that, we watched "Money not enough 2".
It was so touched, an entertaining yet educational film. My rates will be 9.9 out of 10. Please watch this movie, for sure it will be an Award winning film in Singapore this year.
Mooncake Festival without lanterns and candles is still a perfect day to me. ^^
Good night everybody~

Outstanding Results
Year 2008 ABRSM Piano Practical results has came out today!
100% passing rates, 50% passed with distinctions! Ah...I am so haaaappy! The highest scores 142 marks, it's really a high distinction, from my 7yo little girl!
It's the first piano examinations to most of them. Tears stream down my face..
It’s as if I’m new teacher again.
As if my first batch of students having their piano exams.
As if a conversation with a 3 year old about Do Re Mi was the coolest thing that happened to me that day.
As if the little faces tucked between the hand drums and hand bells, smiling back at me, fell from the sky like a million dollars and changed my life in an instant.
Sheesshh, I love being a teacher.
Updates
Omg... I'm so much behind on updates! But I hope I can manage my time better to blog more. *grin*
I've been to KLpac few weeks ago to attend a course. It's been quite some time since the last time I went here. I was so lucky to see the beautiful ducklings early at the morning! *lovely*
Busy having their breakfast ^^
Whole family ^^
Beautiful isn't she?
Beautiful scene along KLpac early at the morning~
The course was lots beyond my expectations, and excellent introductions of Dalcroze Method. It's interesting, fun and a very impressive seminar.
Lesson time*
There's an art exhibition at the basement on that day.
Basement and entrance of KLpac.
Love the interior and environments here very much.
