New York's Les Ballets Grandiva - Men In Tutus

If you think ballet is all work and no play, Les Ballet Grandiva is set to prove you wrong. Originally from New York, Les Ballet Grandiva is an all-male comedy ballet company founded by its director Victor Trevino. Running in its tenth year, Les Ballet Grandiva has earned the reputation of being the most spectacular, talented and hilarious all-male comedy ballet ever. Les Ballet Grandiva has more than fifty ballets in its repertoire and some of the best male dancers under the company’s wing.

"Men In Tutu" is the ultimate send-up of both classical and contemporary ballet, combining brilliant dancing techmique, toungue-in-cheek humour, dancing mishaps and, of course, hissy fits by men playing both male and famale roles!
Fresh from their sell-out tour of Europe and Asia, this critically acclaimed company has toured the world over: China, Japan, France, Italy and South Korea. Making a stop in Malaysia for the very first time.

One of the best show of the year. It's absolutely hilarious, made me laugh until rolled on the floor!

Here is the video preview of "MEN IN TUTUS".

Enjoy :)

Sunday's Art Class I

I have been a little busy with my own stuff lately. But I'll try my best to keep updating as much as I can.

Last Sunday I went for my art class as usual, the art exhibition in the school were still on going. So you can see paintings were hanging everywhere around the school.

Here are some of my favorites.

Lesson time.

Updates II

The Opening ceremony~

Here are the three painting that I managed to shoot. Just like the title, all the painting are all refresh local fruits.

I've attended water and oil painting exhibition--The Journey of refreshment by my art teacher on Wesak day. It take place at Fo Guang Dong Zen Temple. (佛光山东禅寺) located at Sungai Jarom, Jenjarom, Kuala Langat. Selangor.

The Journey takes about one hour. Open Ceremony started at 2pm, lucky us had arrived on time. Thanks to the newly open
KESAS HIGHWAY which has saved up so much time but not money because there were 4 tolls along the way. Each toll cost RM 2.20. *Wide Eyes*

The temple totally captured my eyes when I saw it. It's beautiful, impressive, and majestic. The feeling is like China when you first step into it. Maybe as a Christian I really didn't expose much to other religion, I can't put those feeling in words but it's not bad at all. I was so much impressed by the people and everything here.

The temple was happening, a lot of tourist and local people. According to my friend, Buddhist celebrate Wesak day. (Actually I have no idea of what is Wesak day, I thought it's for Indians! oh my.. and he laugh till roll on the floor -_-)

We went straight to Dong Zen Art Gallery. There were two art exhibitions going on the same day. One was the traditional water color & oil painting by my teacher. Another was contemporary Digital Art. After greeting our teacher Mr.Yeo Eng Peng, the ceremony started. The section that I dislike, I just can't stand the l-o-n-g speech. The longest I can stay was only less than 10 minutes and you'll find me disappeared from the hall. *grin*

I went for a walk around the temple. I managed to take some photos but I realize my photography techniques are far away from the professional photograher. My photos turned out just don't show the beauty of the temple at all. T.T

After all I was quite upset because I didn't shoot much. I'll visit the temple one day again just for the intention to take nice photos.

If you wish to visit this beautiful temple, here are the direction with location map.
