Little ones.
Here is the other pre-YMC class conducting by Ms Tee. We have few group classes on Saturday conducting by different teachers.
One of my favourite student, he is mix of Chinese and Japanese. Superb Cute^^
Everyday Saturday is the busiet day of Concerto music. It's mine as well.
Conducting 4 group lessons in a day aren't an easy job at all. Each classes consist of 4 to 6 children. From 9am till 6pm, i'll be totally roster by the end of the day.
There are two Young Child music programme in our school. The YoungChild Music Course (YMC) is an integrated music programme specially designed for 3-6 years old children.
A) Pre-YMC 'Music, Movement, and Me' (ages 3-4)
The focus of this course is on introducing young children to some basic musical concepts through singing, dancing, games, simple percussion musical instruments playing, nursery rhymes, finger plays, story telling and creative listening.
At the early stage of the course, children will not be exposed directly to keyboard; however, they will learn to play on some percussion instruments, such as triangle, ring-bells, rhythm stick, hand drum, glockenspiel, resonator bars, etc.

B) YMC Keyboard Course (ages 4-6)
This course will bring the children into a new musical world, using keyboard as a medium. Children are not only exposed to keyboard playing but also creative listening, sol-fege singing, movement, dancing and dramatization.
Trying to manage 5 kids at a time, all at slightly different skill levels and all with their slightly different personality quirks – too hyper, too shy, too smart, too messy, too particular, or too daydreamy.
For 1 hour, as I worked through every kid in the class, I was constantly squawking " Ok, let's switch on your keyboard. No no, don't bang my keyboard please. Sit tall. Now show teacher your right hand. No, right hand! Yes, now tell me where is Doh? Great Job! Maybe that's too loud, try to press the key softer. Oh, your wrist is too high! Are you left or right handed? Just two eyes please! Careful! Don't swing on your chair!" and it went on and on and on and on and on.
For a whole hour!! My brain hurts!
That's just small part of the lesson. During the activities time kids will run around, jumping up and down in the room like monkey! And don't forget I have four group classes in a day!
AARRGGH.
But by the end of class, it's worth to see every kids enjoy their music class much and their big happy face. Lovely.
That's my every Saturday. *smile*
