Shu Uemera Coloured Eye Shadows

Absolutely fall in love with Shu Uemera false lashes.

I've been collected them since last year. My most favorite lashes as above. It looks dramatic but
this synthetic version features a criss-crossed design provide the most voluminous lashes.

I’ve been on the look out for some new eye shadow too. Yeah, I'm trying to venture out into COLOUR.

I spotted these limited edition Shu Uemura pressed eye shadow colours and argh they’re so pretty!

BookFest @ Malaysia 2008

There are a book fest going on in town during 24 May - 1 June at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

I headed to KLCC right after my art class, just can't wait to the fest. But it's already 5pm when I arrived. Today is the last day of it, I just left few more hours. T.T

The hall was expectedly crowded with people. All the books and stores were in better arrangements and more systematic compare to last year. I just grabbed whatever seems right. I enjoy very much in buying books, but it's too crowded today. I just wish I could go off earlier.

Although time were short but I still got something in great deal.

Just too happy for that. ^.^

All books were having discounts, it's even up to 50 %!

The crowd.

How can a long day go without Starbucks? While reading the new magazine, and enjoying my favorite coffee after the long walking day, it's one of the best moment in life. *smile*

After coffee, I still have teh tarik section with my brother.

My Sunday ended up with laughters and a bundle of books.

Updates II

The Opening ceremony~

Here are the three painting that I managed to shoot. Just like the title, all the painting are all refresh local fruits.

I've attended water and oil painting exhibition--The Journey of refreshment by my art teacher on Wesak day. It take place at Fo Guang Dong Zen Temple. (佛光山东禅寺) located at Sungai Jarom, Jenjarom, Kuala Langat. Selangor.

The Journey takes about one hour. Open Ceremony started at 2pm, lucky us had arrived on time. Thanks to the newly open
KESAS HIGHWAY which has saved up so much time but not money because there were 4 tolls along the way. Each toll cost RM 2.20. *Wide Eyes*

The temple totally captured my eyes when I saw it. It's beautiful, impressive, and majestic. The feeling is like China when you first step into it. Maybe as a Christian I really didn't expose much to other religion, I can't put those feeling in words but it's not bad at all. I was so much impressed by the people and everything here.

The temple was happening, a lot of tourist and local people. According to my friend, Buddhist celebrate Wesak day. (Actually I have no idea of what is Wesak day, I thought it's for Indians! oh my.. and he laugh till roll on the floor -_-)

We went straight to Dong Zen Art Gallery. There were two art exhibitions going on the same day. One was the traditional water color & oil painting by my teacher. Another was contemporary Digital Art. After greeting our teacher Mr.Yeo Eng Peng, the ceremony started. The section that I dislike, I just can't stand the l-o-n-g speech. The longest I can stay was only less than 10 minutes and you'll find me disappeared from the hall. *grin*

I went for a walk around the temple. I managed to take some photos but I realize my photography techniques are far away from the professional photograher. My photos turned out just don't show the beauty of the temple at all. T.T

After all I was quite upset because I didn't shoot much. I'll visit the temple one day again just for the intention to take nice photos.

If you wish to visit this beautiful temple, here are the direction with location map.

Roster Saturday

Little ones.

Here is the other pre-YMC class conducting by Ms Tee. We have few group classes on Saturday conducting by different teachers.

"Hi, my name is Ryusei, I'm 4 years old"
One of my favourite student, he is mix of Chinese and Japanese. Superb Cute^^

*Lesson time*

Everyday Saturday is the busiet day of Concerto music. It's mine as well.

Conducting 4 group lessons in a day aren't an easy job at all. Each classes consist of 4 to 6 children. From 9am till 6pm, i'll be totally roster by the end of the day.

There are two Young Child music programme in our school. The YoungChild Music Course (YMC) is an integrated music programme specially designed for 3-6 years old children.

A) Pre-YMC 'Music, Movement, and Me' (ages 3-4)
The focus of this course is on introducing young children to some basic musical concepts through singing, dancing, games, simple percussion musical instruments playing, nursery rhymes, finger plays, story telling and creative listening.

At the early stage of the course, children will not be exposed directly to keyboard; however, they will learn to play on some percussion instruments, such as triangle, ring-bells, rhythm stick, hand drum, glockenspiel, resonator bars, etc.

B) YMC Keyboard Course (ages 4-6)
This course will bring the children into a new musical world, using keyboard as a medium. Children are not only exposed to keyboard playing but also creative listening, sol-fege singing, movement, dancing and dramatization.

Trying to manage 5 kids at a time, all at slightly different skill levels and all with their slightly different personality quirks – too hyper, too shy, too smart, too messy, too particular, or too daydreamy.

For 1 hour, as I worked through every kid in the class, I was constantly squawking " Ok, let's switch on your keyboard. No no, don't bang my keyboard please. Sit tall. Now show teacher your right hand. No, right hand! Yes, now tell me where is Doh? Great Job! Maybe that's too loud, try to press the key softer. Oh, your wrist is too high! Are you left or right handed? Just two eyes please! Careful! Don't swing on your chair!" and it went on and on and on and on and on.

For a whole hour!! My brain hurts!

That's just small part of the lesson. During the activities time kids will run around, jumping up and down in the room like monkey! And don't forget I have four group classes in a day!

AARRGGH.

But by the end of class, it's worth to see every kids enjoy their music class much and their big happy face. Lovely.

That's my every Saturday. *smile*
